The contractor is Erick H. Millholland dba WLAM Construction and Roofing from Arlington, Wa. We have heard that after Washington state Labor and Industries suspended his license in mid December 2004 after several members of L & I and a person from the Mount Vernon permit center came to our home to see the horrible condition the contractor us to live in. The contractor left our home in a "demolition state" without a kitchen, bath or even running water. We are currnetly living in a tent in the main living area since the contractor took the wallheaters out. Erick H. Millholland lost his contractor license mid December 2004 and now has fled the state. We can't get financing to do the desperately needed repairs to make our home safe and up to current codes, since the house is not finished and we don't have enough income. We are the victims of a horrendeous crime yet we can't get any help from anyone. I believe we are all on this earth to help each other during both good times and the "not so good" times. I never thought I never thought I would be in this situation, since I was always a hard working woman with an education, but now I am disabled with no income. The contractor did not get any building permits nor did he build anything up to current standards, most of the materials were used or substandard. The roof is not structurally sound and the electrical and plumbing, is not up to code and poses a risk to us as occupants. Disabled and my ex husband took advantage of my mental and physical state after coming off Chemotherapy. Both my husband and adult son lied, threatenend and coercied me to not ask for spousal support.and medical coverage. I was told if I didn' t sign the document that his attorney made up I would never see my son again. I was disabled both then and now and did not comprehend the implications of signing that document. Just recently, I have discovered that my ex husband,had forged my name on a 24K day trading account to take money out of a community account and then two days before our divorce was final he opened another day trading account solely in his name only. I did not get any spousal support or any medical coverage in the divorce settlement and we cannot afford one now, since we are trying to live on one disability income. While doing my 2004 taxes, we discovered the ex had emptied both joint day trading accounts and also checking accounts. It seems he was hiding money in different day trading brokerage accounts and hiding assets from me in the months before I left him. The ex and his attorney came up with a divorce document that I felt pressured to sign if I ever wanted to see my son again. At that time I didn't even realize the implications of signing that document, The divorce decree said that I was no longer disabled, I am still disabled due to the effect of the chemotherapy which I began on October 4, 2002. As far as we can figure it appears he has failed to disclose these assets and probably more. Can someone please help us prove the forgery on this day trading check. The check was for 24K that the ex forged my name on 05/05/03 on a Harris Direct day trading account. This is not the first time he has forged my signature during our marriage of almost 25 years. There was another day trading account at E-Trade which he used an E-check (about 26K) to take the community funds around about the same time (May 2003) and also hide this money from me during our divorce. The E-Trade account was not noted on his asset and income form, nor the IRS as we can tell. It appears that he took money out of our joint accounts (day trading and bank accounts) and then two days before the divorce was final he put the money in day trading accounts in his name only. He also failed to disclose this check and other accounts on the income and asset form during our divorce in Contra Costa county which was final on Feb 1, 2004. The ex is still living in Contra Costa. I have contacted both the police and an investigative deputy in Ca. This situation should be easy to prove forgery with "intend to fraud".
